EDITOR: HEIDI KENESSEYHeidi Kenessey has worked with many brilliant people on innovative and exciting films. Most recently she edited Feeling Sexy and had a wonderful time, inspired by Davida Allen's overabundant and infectious energy.
After graduating from Art School in 1986, Heidi started her editing career as an assistant editor.
In 1991 she teamed up with editor Veronika Jenet as her first assistant on Jane Campion's 'The Piano'. It won the Palm D'Or at Cannes in 1992 and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Editor in 1993. Heidi also edited the opening title and travelogue sequences on Jane Campion's next film 'The Portrait of a Lady'.
Heidi has had 15 years experience in editing features, shorts documentaries and television. Her notable success include editing the internationally acclaimed feature film 'Terra Nova' and the multi award winning short film 'Fetch' which was invited to Official Competition in Cannes in 1998.
Most recently she edited the documentary 'Up In the Sky - Tracey Moffat in New York' which screened at Films des Femmes, Creteuil, France.
